Viewpoint! The industry's first and most advanced Graphical User Interface product for travel agents. New agents can be productive almost immediately, there's no need to even know airport or city codes. Existing agents will benefit from new tools not available from traditional CRS products. With Viewpoint, all agency staff will find information faster and provide a much higher level of customer service and added value. A booking file can be completed with just a few mouse clicks.

Relay

Agents can use Relay's pre-programmed on-screen tools to access and manipulate information directly from the Galileo system without having to memorise complex formats. Simple graphical buttons on a toolbar accomplish complex tasks with a single mouse click or a simple keyboard entry. Relay provides the capability to capture screens and itineraries, manage queues, create client files and assists in print recovery.

Client File

ClientFile allows agents to electronically store all customer, corporate and itinerary information in one place, information that can automatically be included in a new or existing Booking File. With Client File, faster and more accurate reservations can be made, enhancing customer service and increasing productivity. The stored information can only be viewed by that particular agency.

RoomMaster

RoomMaster provides access to over 52,000 hotel properties worldwide. It allows users to target hotels using specific details such as rate ranges, mileage ranges, reference points and many more. Negotiated rates are easily accessible in RoomMaster. To add value to each booking, RoomMaster can interact with Galileo's graphical mapping capabilities which provides over 1,400 detailed maps showing hotel properties and points of interest anywhere in the world. There are three levels of participation, Inside Availability, a first in the industry, which provides real time access into the hotel's reservation system, Inside Link (instant confirmation) and non-link (teletype).

CarMaster

CarMaster offers access to over 27 car rental companies at over 19,500 locations worldwide. CarMaster gives agents the ability to offer an unlimited number of vehicle types, as well as a sophisticated rate structure. In most cases, agents receive instant confirmations from the car hire company's own reservation system.

ViewTrip

Galileo ViewTrip allows both agents and clients to view trip details online any time from anywhere. Simply go to http://www.viewtrip.com/, enter the unique six-character reservation number and the last name of the passenger. In seconds all the trip details will appear on the screen. Furthermore, the details can be sent to any e-mail address.

Host Email Functionality

Host Email Functionality allows a user to e-mail an itinerary to a customer without Internet access. Just enter a simple format such as EM and the booking file will be end transacted and automatically placed on an internal queue. ViewTrip programmatically monitors the internal queue and issues the email. ViewTrip picks up the email address from the email phone item in the phone field of the booking file and issues an email with a text itinerary.

FocalpointNet

FocalpointNet provides agents with a low-cost and secure access to the Galileo system via an independent ISP through the Internet. It provides agents with complete ticketing, itinerary/invoice printing and back office interface capabilities with fully encrypted security features. It's designed for a single station or a multi station user with up to five workstations. It provides the ability for agents to work from home or from remote locations and yet have all the Galileo system's functions and features.

Agency Private Fares

Agency Private Fares is an easy to use web based method of maintaining a private fares database that provides complete rule validation. After they are entered, these private fares and their associated rules are available for automated access, display, and distribution to all branch offices within a travel agency group and to Galileo travel agents outside the agency group. As fares filed through Agency Private Fares reside in the Public Fares database, integrated fare displays, rule validation, and fare quotes are ensured through the Galileo host.
No additional software is required to enter the fares.
